As a retail sales specialist at Apple, I was lucky enough to launch the original iPhone for Apple retail. As a member of the small business teams, and personal shopping teams, I assisted consumer and professional customers meet their needs through solution selling. I consistently met or exceeded sales goals and metrics. In addition, I led occasional group training workshops for customers and served as a backup for the customer support team.
Our team’s main challenges was keeping pace with a large customer flow and establishing relationships with customers in a loud and crowded retail environment. Communication and focus on goals helped keep the team working smoothly. As a retail specialist, I focused heavily on the buyer’s journey making sure their experience in the store exceeded expectations, including repeat visits for training and support.
